Lacquer is a high solids solvent based wood finishing product that dries to a hard smooth finish.  It is neither oil nor water based. Lacquers are made specifically for high end furniture finishes. The lacquer we use will not yellow over time the way oil based products will. Lacquers are high strength products that are resistant to chemicals that could otherwise damage an oil or water based product. Most ready made furniture comes with a pre-manufactured lacquer coating. However, the products we use are ultra premium, meaning ultra resistant against even harsh chemicals, heat, cold and marring. We choose lacquer over other wood finishing options because of the superior protection, finish and longevity provided. That being said, there is not a wood finishing product out there that is indestructible. 

FREE SHIPPING!!! We offer free shipping to the lower 48. Contact me to arrange shipping. Standard shipping is FREE to the first floor front porch or garage. You are responsible for moving your new vintage piece beyond that. I will need your phone number to arrange delivery. You will need to be home and be available to help unload. I can arrange for “White Glove” delivery for an additional cost. Stairs, elevators, no help unloading, etc… quantifies “white glove”. We ship using third party independent freight shippers. Most shippers are traveling alone and will need help unloading. Expect to help unload!

Depends... Ready to ship items can be delivered anywhere from less than a week up to 6 weeks after purchase.​

Customizable pieces will have a 4-8 week lead time while being refinished and then will typically have a 1-3 week shipping time added on. So expect at least 4 weeks for custom pieces.​

Contact us to arrange local pick up at our shop in Aubrey TX. Local pick up and delivery items will need to be picked up/delivered within a week of being ready or added charges will be incurred for storage. Talk to us! We are reasonable people and can work with you.​

We are humans and a small group of humans at that. Extremely rarely things happen that are out of our control that can extend the delivery time; weather, natural disasters, sickness, etc... But we do everything within our power to get your pieces to you ASAP. We are as excited as you are about your purchase.

As I stated above, we are a small business, not a major retailer. We pay attention to detail and try our damnedest to please our customers. We cannot afford to accept returns, issue refunds or exchange items. ALL SALES ARE FINAL!! That being said, please make sure you have all the information you need before clicking buy. Please ask for more details, info and pictures. We're here to help you feel happy and confident shopping with us. We are dealing with vintage used furniture. It is going to have signs of use. Most of it is older than we are, therefore will not be "perfect, cookie-cutter, completely unblemished." Like a fine wine she has gotten better with age. All vintage furniture will have character. Which is why we love it! Please consider this. Do not expect brand new.
